The Frozen Beaker is a family owned & operated business.

It's an idea dreamed up by 8 year old Sarah while riding her bike to get shave ice in the summer of 1992. Sarah would talk about the idea from time to time, mostly with her husband Michael and their kids while enjoying freezer pops on a warm summer day. As a family we talked about how many smiles a dessert truck must see and what flavors we loved the most. Early in 2021 Michael decided to make what had became our family dream into a reality. We bought the tiniest shave ice trailer, renovated it and started serving smiles to all of you in Sherwood by Dick's Family Foods. Eventually we started traveling to events and food truck rallies too. 

Our kids helped us create a menu of fun items & flavors just for you!

Michael still loves being a high school science teacher and Sarah still enjoys being a nurse educator...but our real passion is working side by side and with our kids in the Beaker! 

It's a ton of fun being a Mad Scientist with flavors! In fact that's where our name comes from! #science
